Since 1969, we have been producing practical, high-performance solutions based on constant innovation. Today, we offer an impressive product portfolio of 4×4, 6×6 and 8×8 airport rescue and firefighting vehicles – designed and produced from a single source. By continuously developing proven, successful concepts, we ensure that our Z-Class vehicles exceed the requirements of relevant NFPA or ICAO standards by far.

Key Information

Roof turret and front turret

Proven ZIEGLER turrets complete the extinguishing system from one single source. Output rates of up to 8,000 l / min are no problem for Z-Turret, our new generation of turrets. Alternatively, the roof turret can be replaced by a Z-Attack articulated extinguishing arm and the front turret can be done lowerable.

Extinguishing agent tank

The glass fiber reinforced extinguishing agent tank holds up to 19 tons of combined extinguishing agents (water-foam). The newly designed tank is positioned at a low point in the vehicle and plays a key role in maintaining the vehicle’s low center of gravity and optimizing its driving dynamics and safety.

Extinguishing system

The heart of each vehicle is the ZIEGLER built-in pump, which has proven itself thousands of times. They are robust, extremely reliable, low-wear, designed for dirt water and therefore easy to maintain. The ZIEGLER admixing system, developed and tested for all foaming agents, is perfectly matched.

Drive technology

We selected specific components to design the drive train for the special requirements of an airport rescue and firefighting vehicle: excellent acceleration values in connection with the highest possible vehicle load. Thanks to the innovative drive concept, the pump and roll mode can be activated at any speed.
